Sally McNally Krieger, 92, of Chatham, N.J, formerly of Summit, and Monmouth Beach, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on June 13, 2015. She was a devoted wife and mother, loyal friend and avid tennis and platform tennis player. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence W. Krieger. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Church in New Vernon on June 19, at 10:30 a.m. Sally was the daughter of the late Philip S. McNally and the former Margery Waters. Sally attended Miss Beard’s School before attending Manhattanville and Vassar Colleges. Surviving are her children, Lawrence, Jr. (Virginia) of Sonoma , CA, Philip (Juliet) of New York, NY, Margery K Slonaker of Chatham, George (Kim) of Williamsburg, VA, Paul (Beth) of Asheville, NC, Peter (Anne) of New Canaan, CT, Dede O’Brien (Dennis) of Fair Haven, NJ, and Sarah Krieger of Chatham. Sally is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chatham Emergency Squad.
