Salvatore (Sal) Esposito of Convent Station, NJ passed in his sleep on September 9, 2018 at the age of 90, one week before his 91st birthday. Sal was born and raised in Newark, NJ. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Upon completion of service, he married his wife Mildred (nee Macera), moved to West Orange, New Jersey and started his own State Farm agency with an office in East Orange, then South Orange, NJ successfully for 34 yrs. He has lived in Convent Station, NJ for over 40 years. He loved Marco Island and Naples, Florida most winters.
He leaves his wife Mildred of 68 years, his son Robert and his daughter Patricia. He loved his family and their cats and dogs, including Petey and Robert’s black Labrador retriever Truman. Sal also loved children, nature and music.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. , Whippany. NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 13,2018 at 11am at St Thomas More Church in Convent Station, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
