Ruth L. Guetig Frank, 85, longtime Whippany resident, passed away on May 31, 2018 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Ruth lived in Union for many years before settling in Whippany 64 years ago when she married F. Paul Frank, where they raised their family.
Ruth graduated from Trenton State Teachers College, now The College of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Education in Music. She taught music in both Hanover Township and Florham Park.
Ruth was predeceased by her devoted husband, F. Paul Frank. She is survived by her loving sons; Stephen P. and his wife Anne of Bridgewater, NJ., Timothy A. and his wife Sandy of Warminster, PA., Kevin M. and his wife Patricia of Downers Grove, IL., and Alan J. and his wife Cheri of Laramie, WY. Ruth and Paul were blessed with their grandchildren: Andrew and Brian Frank, Samantha Simeone, Shaun and Scott Frank, Erin Borkowski, Emily Schilz, Mark Frank, Steven and Victoria Scaccia, Caitlin and Austin Anderle, and Madison Frank, along with their great-grandchildren Danny and Jacob Borkowski, Ella Schilz, May Simeone, and Jaden Frank. Ruth is also survived by her brother, Erwin and his wife Helen of Wynantskill, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 9:30 am at the Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Ave., in Cedar Knolls. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ruth may be made to a charity of your choice.
