~~Rose B. Colandrea, 91, Springfield resident of over 70 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 17, 2017.
Rose was born in Summit to a family of 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Her dedication to the customer service industry lasted over 70 years, most recently with Mack Camera in Springfield. She worked there for over 10 years, up until April 14, 2017.
Predeceased by her husband Benjamin, and 8 siblings; Rose is survived by her sister Patricia Ables; children Bruce and his wife Veronica; Jeff and his wife Carrie; grandchildren Michael, Matthew and Ben; and great granddaughter Alexa.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 3-7pm at the Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield. Family and friends are invited to meet at the funeral home on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10am for a procession to St. Teresa’s Cemetery in Summit, where an entombment will take place.
