Ronald L. Duchinsky, 76, of Millburn, New Jersey passed away suddenly on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
Ronald was born on April 19, 1941 in Yonkers, New York to the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Julia (nee Lobacz) Duchinsky.
Ronald’s 40 plus years career as a Purchasing Agent /Contract Administrator included Bendix Corp, Lockheed Martin, with the last 20 years at JCP&L in Morristown, NJ His love of children led him to his 18 year retirement job as a Millburn Crossing Guard. Ron was a kind, honest man whose prime interests were his family, travel, golf and world affairs.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, June (nee Maiorano) Duchinsky and his son Adam Duchinsky and wife Zena. He was the cherished Poppy of Sophia and Amelia Duchinsky. He is also survived by cousins; Loraine and Bernard Gold, June and Garth Bishop, and David and Karen Parliament, brother-in-plaw’s; Joseph and Rosemary Maiorano, William and Mary Ann Maiorano, Barbara and David Kiley, Michael and Paula Maiorano and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:45 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed in Ron’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or charity of choice.
