Patricia A. Cullen of Murray Hill, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Chatham Hills Care Center, Chatham, NJ. She was 88. Patricia was born in Irvington, NJ and lived in Summit, NJ before moving to Murray Hill. She was a Supervisor in the Revenue & Regulatory Department at NJ Bell Telephone Co for 38 years, retiring in 1985. Over the years, she was an active member of the Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters at Our Lady of Peace Church and she volunteered at Runnels Hospital.
Pat devoted her life to her family and her church. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary (Dougherty), and John Cullen. Pat is survived by her two sisters, Maureen Cullen and Eileen Haemmerle, her brother in law, William Haemmerle, her niece and nephew, Patricia (David) Aprill and William (Susan) Haemmerle and their children, Megan and David Aprill and Kiera and Greta Haemmerle.
Visitation is on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2 to pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ. The Funeral will begin at 9 am on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church, South St. New Providence, NJ. Interment St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s name may be made to Our Lady of Peace Church.
