~~Maureen J. LaSapio, 71, of Chatham and Manasquan, passed away on July 20, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 1 Lloyd Ave in Florham Park on Monday, July 25th at 10am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St, in Chatham on Sunday from 3 to 7pm. Born in East Orange, the daughter of Matthew and Dorothy Farley, Maureen was raised in Whippany where she graduated from Hanover Park High School. She received her degree in Elementary Education from Fairleigh Dickenson University. Maureen was a teacher at the Kings Road Elementary School in Madison for 25 years until her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed travel, gardening, reading and entertaining. Maureen will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her family and friends and her spectacular holiday celebrations.

Maureen was the beloved wife of 38 years to the late Sebastian LaSapio. She was the loving mother of Stephanie LaSapio Dietz and her husband Charles and Allison LaSapio Twohig and her husband Seamus. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Caroline, Christopher and Seamus, her dear companion Dr. Anthony Procopio, her brother Matthew Farley and many loving relatives and friends.
