Mary Stasiuk

~~Mary Stasiuk, 91, of Cortlandt Manor, NY and formerly of New Providence, NJ passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on August 2, 2015. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Church, 111 South St, New Providence on Friday, August 7th at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 309 Springfield Ave in Summit on Thursday August 6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm. Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and devoted friend to many. Her smile would light up a room and her devotion to family and friends is legendary. She was happily married to Walter Stasiuk who predeceased her in 1985. She was the loving mother to Walter Stasiuk, (Laurel Stasiuk), Gregory Stasiuk (Fern Stasiuk) and loving grandmother to her beloved granddaughter Lorene Stasiuk.

She served as President of the New Providence Women’s Club and was active with the Senior Center in New Providence, NJ. She was known in her town as a loyal friend, with a sunny disposition, great sense of humor, a ready smile with a generous and giving nature. Mary was also a devout parishioner at Our Lady of Peace Church. Mary worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the Celanese Company in Branchburg, NJ.

She was a world class traveler, loved to play bridge and shared her enjoyment of card games with her granddaughter.

Mary will be greatly missed but will always be in the hearts of her family and friends.
