She was strength, she was kindness, she was pure. Her legacy will carry on for much farther than these five generations that follow her. She was the definition of the word beautiful-inside and out. She spread love farther than anyone I know. God’s child in the most righteous way. She loved her faith and always put Him first. She didn’t judge, didn’t condescend, and never made someone feel shame for believing something different than she. She was what the Lord imagined when He thought of His people. I know she is exactly where she wants to be, with Him, forever. You’ll be with us everywhere we go now-not only in our blood but in our hearts & in our spirits: she is with us forever. May she rest in peace.
Her spirit & name is carried on by her four sons: Stephen, Daniel, Ernest, & John; her grandchildren: Angela, Clare, Miranda, Anna, Francis, Sarah, Candice, Anthony, & Mathew; her 13 great grandchildren, & her great-great granddaughter, Saige.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield, from 7pm-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St James the Apostle Catholic Church, 45 South Springfield Ave., Springfield at 10am. Mary will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, Ernest Piscitelli at St. Teresa’s Cemetery in Summit following the Mass.
