Marie Rose Gehrmann of Whippany died at Troy Hills Center in Parsippany on Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was 87.
Born in Hoboken, Mrs. Gehrmann lived in North Arlington for over 40 years before moving to Whippany 19 years ago. She worked for the Janette Shop in Nutley but she was first and foremost a loving mother and grandmother who cherishedher family. She also loved playing bingo and enjoyed going to the casinos.
Marie was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late John F. Gehrmann. Loving mother of the late Richard and his wife Lynn, Mary Ann Intorp and her husband Norbert, Frank J. and his wife Nancy, Joyce Chapman and her husband Paul, the late John F., Jr. and his wife Mary and the late Anthony. She is also survived by her cherished 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, including the newest addition, Harvey Clark Luettchau.
