Lois M. Schmidt-Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Lois M. Schmidt, (nee Hakes), 81 of East Hanover, passed peacefully on November 9, 2014. Born and raised in Bloomsburg, PA, Lois has loved in East Hanover for 55 years. Lois was a caregiver to everyone and opened her home to all. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 53 yeas, CArl Schmidt, her sister Linda Fritze. Lois is survived by her four children, JoAnn George and her husband John, Paul Schmidt, Carl Schmidt and his wife Debbie and Heidi Azarow and her husband Rob. 9 grandchildren, Jaime & Jonathan George, Katie Schmidt, Casey, Taylor, Carli Schmidt, Jesse Steckert, Justin & Jaclyn Azarow, 2 great-grandchildren, Charlie & Nova Roberts. She is also survived by two brothers, Richard & Leroy Hakes.
A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 9:45 am at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany. Entombment Restland Memorial Park. Visiting hours, Thursday, 4 to 8 pm.
