~~Laura Zaborowski, 93, lifelong resident of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. Laura was a seamstress with Conmar in Newark for many years. A sports enthusiast and season ticket holder, Laura could be seen cheering on the Mets, Jets, Devils and Red Bulls. However, her family was her greatest joy in life.
Predeceased by her husband Stanley; Laura is survived by her sons, Stanley Zaborowski, M.D. and his wife Angela, and Richard Zaborowski; grandchildren Russell Zaborowski and his wife Donna, and Jason Zaborowski; gre at grandchildren Ryan and Paige Zaborowski; and her brother Paul Gnash.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 1pm at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Rd., in Whippany. Interment will take place on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11am at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. There will be a visitation on Friday from 3-7pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany.
