Joyce H. Arrighi, 88, of Union and Ocean Township, NJ, passed away on January 30, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel, 1212 Kelly St. in Union on Monday, February 5th at 10:15am. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Born in Newark, the daughter of Elmer and Olga (Hintelman) Fuller, Joyce was raised in Irvington where she graduated from high school in 1947. A longtime resident of Union, she also had lived in Ocean Township and most recently Warren. In her younger years, Joyce worked as a court stenographer before leaving to raise her family. A past president of the PTA in Union she volunteered with Meals on Wheels and as a braille typist, transcribing books to braille.
Joyce was the beloved wife of 67 years to Anthony “Tony” Arrighi. She was the loving mother of Robert Arrighi and his wife Alison. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Arrighi, Michael Arrighi and his wife Amanda, and Sarah Arrighi. She is predeceased by her daughters June and Ann, and her brother Elmer, Jr.
