Jose Quinones, 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 . Born and raised in Galicia, Spain, Jose came to the United States in 1965, where he settled in the Ironbound Section of Newark . He has lived in Mountainside for the last 5 years.
Jose is survived by his wife of 63 years, Consuelo (nee: Alvarez); children Manuel Quinones, Hilda Paredes, Jose Luis Quinones, Remy Quinones and Elisa Quinones; and grandchildren Brendan, Ryan, Julia and Kristen.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 300 Central Ave., Mountainside. Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery , North Arlington . There will be a visitation on Sunday from 4-8pm at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave , Union .
