Johanna E. Cerro, 81, of Union passed away at Manor Care in New Providence on January 13th.
A life long resident of Union, Johanna graduated from Union High School in 1949. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a committee member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 65. Johanna enjoyed gardening and bowling. Johanna, known to many as “Sparky”, will be fondly remembered for her cheerful spirit.
Johanna was the beloved wife of the late Dominick Cerro. She was the loving mother of Wendy Mitchell, Brenda Cardinal, and Joseph Cerro and cherished grandmother of Mollie Rosenkrantz, Courtney Rosenkrantz, and Brendan Cardinal.
