Jean Ann Marcus, 66, of Summit, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in New York City, and raised in Englewood, New Jersey, Jean has lived in Summit for 30 years. A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Jean had a long career with GAF Corp in Wayne, NJ. She was an animal lover, enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. Predeceased by her parents, Jerome and Helen Marcus; Jean is survived by her daughters Emily and Jocelyn Bernstein; brother Dave Marcus; partner Danijel Varga; and former husband Alan Bernstein. A Service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 12:30pm at the Wm A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham. Cremation will be private. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 11am until the start of the service.
