Iris Burgoyne Owen Langdon

Iris Burgoyne Owen Langdon, 84, of Summit, NJ, passed peacefully on January 2, 2015. Born and raised in South Orange, she lived in Ridgewood and Ho-Ho-Kus before moving to Summit 16 years ago. Iris was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch running Client Promotions before retiring and opening her own business where she continued to work up until this past year. Avid golf and bridge player, master yoga instructor and passionate painter, Iris lived a very full joyful life. She was a fixture on the sidelines of her grandchildren’s games and is well recognized around Summit by the name her grandchildren called, Modie. Iris is survived by three children, Michele V. (Langdon) Fisher, and her husband Keith, Christina F. Langdon and John D. Langdon, grandmother of Hadley K. Bos-Fisher, Jocelyn L. Bos-Fisher, Christopher A. Colucci, Caroline O. Cranley, Theodore L. Cranley and John J. Cranley, IV. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10:45 am at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Ave, Summit. Visiting hours, Tuesday, January 6 from 3 to 7 pm at the Bradley Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 309 Springfield Ave, Summit.
