Helen Balcavage

Helen Balcavage, (nee Maksyn), 97, formerly of Union, NJ, passed peacefully on May 8, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Helen lived in Union for many years, before moving to Berkeley Heights, NJ, 5 years ago. Helen is pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph G. Balcavage, her son Joseph and her daughter, Terri Seilheimer. Helen is survived by her 2 daughters, Lenore Rodino and Rita Visicaro, her husband Philip, grandmother of Philip Joseph Visicaro, Amanda Forte, Rachel & Niki Rodino, great grandmother of Daniel Joseph Rodino, Luca and Angelina Forte, Philip Joseph and Natasha Visicaro. A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11 am at Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ. Visiting hour prior to the service, from 10 am to 11 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s name may be made to: The Sisters of St. Basil, 710 Fox Chase Rd, Jenkintown, PA. 19046.
