Harriet Theresa Mitchell (nee Bogdziewicz), 98 of Whippany, NJ, passed peacefully on August 27, 2016. Born and raised in Jersey City, she lived in North Arlington, before moving to Whippany many years ago. She is pre-deceased by her husband, LeRoy Mitchell, a retired Navy Officer. Harriet is survived by her son Gerald and his wife Margaret, grandmother of Valerie Pereillo, Justin Barba, Brandon Barba, & Gerald Mitchell, Jr. and great-grandmother of Megan & Jessica Pereillo. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10 am at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany, NJ. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visiting hours, Tuesday, from 9:30 am to 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harriet’s name may be made to the Veteran Association of America, Inc. P.O.
