Gloria M. Comerford, 87, of Chatham Township passed away on April 15, 2018. Visiting hours will be held at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. in Chatham on Thursday, April 19th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. There will be a prayer service at 8pm during the visitation. Interment is private. Born and raised in Queens, NY, the daughter of Alexander and Laura (Ammundson) Lennon, Gloria graduated from Andrew Jackson also attended business school. A seamstress and interior decorator, Gloria was also an active parishioner at Corpus Christi Church. She was a Cub Scout Leader and Girl Scout Leader. Gloria enjoyed music and was a big fan of Willie Nile. She also enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Gloria was the loving mother of Patricia Taronis, John Comerford, James Comerford and his wife Tanis, Thomas Comerford and Maryann Durso and her husband Joe. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, George Taronis, John Taronis, Laura Crawford, Patricia Fledderman, Jennifer Durso, Marie Durso, Kelly Snizavich and Cristin Comerford and great grandchildren, Josephine, Connor, Emmalynn, Daisy Lynn, and Rhett.
