Geraldine C. Sorrentino, (nee Alban), 79 of Brick, NJ, formerly of Union, passed peacefully on September 8, 2015. Born and raised in Newark, Geraldine lived in Union for over 40 years, before moving to Brick 12 years ago. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John B. Sorrentino, Sr., loving mother of Michele Barattucci, Kenneth Haines, Jeffrey Haines, John Sorrentino Jr. and James Sorrentino; loving mother in law to Jessica Kapl Sorrentino, the late Karen Clark Haines, and Eileen Wajda Sorrentino, extra loving grandmother to Anthony, Dina and Lisa Barattucci, Dana Haines, Ashley Haines, Stephanie Capalupo, Nicholas and Jenna Sorrentino and Jimmy and Joseph Sorrentino; loving sister of Ray Alban. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:15 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Union. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting hours, Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union, NJ.
