~~Florence “Flo” La Rosa, 73, of Morris Township passed away at her home on August 24, 2016. Visiting hours will be held at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd in Whippany on Sunday, August 28th from 2 to 6pm. There will be a prayer service at 5:30pm during the visitation. Born and raised in Jersey City, the daughter of Chester and Victoria Siniecki, Flo graduated from St. Mary High School in 1960. She had also lived in Park Ridge, NJ, and Cincinnati before moving to Morris Township 33 years ago. Flo attended Ohio State University and later graduated from St. Peter’s College in 1967. She was an executive secretary at Block Drug Company in Jersey City before leaving to start her family. A lifelong member of the Marian Society, Flo loved gardening, crafts and animals.
Flo was the beloved wife of 49 years to Dominic and was the loving mother of Lauren La Rosa and Frank La Rosa. In lieu of flowers donations in Flo’s memory may be made to FOCAS (animal rescue), P.O. Box 439, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604-0439
