Fay C. Heady, 90, of Springfield, New Jersey passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

Fay was born on April 11, 1924 in Newark, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Nicolina (nee Cifrodelly) Ingaro.

Fay was a member of the American Legion Women’s Club and the Senior Citizen’s both of Springfield, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. James Apostle R. C. Church, She enjoyed crocheting and liked to travel. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved watching the Game Show Network.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Henry J. Heady. She is survived by her children; son, William and wife Pamela Heady, daughters, Kathleen and husband Tony DeNicolo, Barbara and husband Glen Schoen, and Donna and husband David Hicks, Sr. She was the grandmother to twelve grandchildren; Alison Heady-Mercurio, Matthew Heady, Traci Miller, Justin Heady, Michele Zambrana, Heather Gove, Jared Heady, Lisa DeLorenzo, Joshua Heady, Anthony DeNicolo, Bryan Hicks, and David Hicks, Jr. She was the great-grandmother to Jessica, Alexis, Christian, Alyssa, Amanda, Gabriella, Luke, Kylie, Tyler, Benjamin, Cameron, and Jackson. She is also survived by siblings, Jean Jenkins, Gloria Forster, Joseph Ingaro and wife Helen, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Dolores.

A visitation will be on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bradley, Smith and Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at St. James the Apostle R. C. Church, 45 South Springfield Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. An interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ.
