Dorothy C. Regan, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Care One at Hanover.
Born and raised in Newark, Dorothy graduated from St Ann’s Grammar and High Schools. She lived in Union for 30 years, most recently residing in Cedar Knolls.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of the VFW Post 1439 in Newark, as well as the St Ann’s Holy Rosary Society and Senior Citizen’s Club of Union.
Predeceased by her beloved husband James J. Regan and dear grandson Philip J. Girppaldi; Dorothy is survived by her devoted children, Eileen Brennan and Patricia Leone and her husband Pompeo; loving grandchildren Colleen P. Anderson, Kevin A. Brennan, Gary Girppaldi, Lisa P. Leone and Michael J. Leone; and 6 cherished great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 10am at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home 49 Whippany Rd., in Whippany.
