Dolores A. Goetze, 83, of Hampton, VA and formerly of Sea Bright, NJ and Sarasota, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Sentara CarePlex Hospital, Hampton, VA.
Dolores was born on August 20, 1931 in Newark, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Alma (nee Anderson) Dennis.
She was a graduate of St. Charles High School, Newark, NJ. She was a former parishioner of Holy Cross Church, Rumson, NJ. Dolores enjoyed swimming, playing the guitar and reading. She was savvy on the internet and loved staying in touch with friends and family through social media.
Dolores is predeceased by her husband, Albin R. Goetze. She is survived by her children; Barbara Giannini and husband Lewis, Susan Edmondson and husband Steuart, Albin Goetze and wife Maritza, Karen Marciniack and husband Pete and Neil Goetze and wife Kristin. She was the cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the funeral home. An interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to a charity of your choice.
