Concetta R. Volpone “Connie’, 81, of Chatham, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Center For Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains.
Born in Newark, NJ, Connie has lived in Chatham since 1971. She worked as a school crossing guard in Chatham Borough for 12 years, and then with Liberty Drug in Chatham, for over 20 years. She was a Parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church, Chatham, where she was a choir member. She also enjoyed reading.
Connie is predeceased by her husband Daniel, and brother Michael Cammarato. She is survived by her sons, James Volpone, Daniel Volpone and his wife Annette, and Michael Volpone and his wife Vanessa; 3 grandchildren; sister Angela Gilligan and brother Samuel Cammarato.
A Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Patrick’s Church, 85 Washington St., Chatham. Burial of cremated remains will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit. There will be a memorial visitation on Friday from 6-8pm at the Wm A Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham.
