Caroline Rose Schulz

Caroline R. Schulz, 82, of Cedar Knolls passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ.

Caroline was born on January 20, 1933 in Newark, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Lillian (nee Swenck) Keimig.

Caroline was a 1949 graduate of Drake Secretarial School. She worked as an executive secretary for Winans-McShane before retiring in 1995.

She was a parishioner of Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel where she was very active and served as a past Eucharistic minister, and past member of the Rosary Society. Caroline enjoyed sewing, tending to her flower garden and bowling with the seniors. She served as Den Mother for the Cub Scouts for several years.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years William J. Schulz, Sr. Mrs. Schulz is survived by her children, Kathleen Voorhees of Annapolis, Md., William Jr. and his wife, Mary of Berkeley Heights, Edward of Cedar Knolls, Marion Prata and her husband, Michael of Little Egg Harbor, and James and his wife, Lauren of Succasunna. She was the sister of Lillian Lach and late husband, Joseph of Lakewood, NJ, brother, Raymond Keimig and his wife, Carolyn of Cedar Knolls, and sister, Rosemarie Smith and husband, William of Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, in addition to many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel, 75 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in her name to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
