Anthony F. Arminio, 90, of Berkeley Heights and formerly of Union, NJ passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at his home.

Anthony was born on October 1, 1924 in Newark, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Rose (nee Severini) Arminio.

Anthony was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church where he served as an usher. He was a member of the VFW Post 2433 in Union, NJ. Tony loved watching the New York Yankees and spending time with his family. He served in the United States Army during World War II where he was awarded the Purple Heart Metal.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Arminio of 66 years. He was the father of daughter, Constance Juban and her husband Ronald, sons; Joseph and wife Diane and Anthony and wife Bryn. He was the cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was also survived by his siblings, Sister Elena Francis, May Pennetta, and Joseph Arminio. He was predeceased by a sister, Victoria DiGiovine. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union, NJ 07083. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at St. Michael’s Church, 1212 Kelly Street, Union, NJ 07083. An entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Watchung, NJ.
