Winston Serna

Winston Serna, age 52, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020. He was born on September 2, 1967, in Quezon City, Philippines to Baltazar and Manuela Serna. He was the most incredible father to his three daughters Aleny, Layla, and Maya, and a loving husband to his wife, Roseli, of 30 years. Winston lived to make his family the happiest women in the world, and he loved them more than anything.

Winston graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in accounting. He was a diligent worker and eventually became Chief Financial Officer for GE Capital International for 15 years. Winston was also a very devoted Christian and member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo his entire life, where he held the offices of Deacon and Podium Assistant.

In his free time, he enjoyed barbecuing his special steak, trading stocks, and shopping for interesting gadgets on Amazon. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like eating out with his family and long calls with his beloved parents and his sister. Winston was like a Google search engine, he knew everything from history to random facts and trivia. People from all around the world would call him for advice because he was the most intelligent and bright man we knew.

He will be deeply missed by all the people that loved him. His funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home. Everyone that loved and cared for him can attend via live streaming to honor and celebrate his life.
