William B. Morgan
10/28/1955 - 01/14/2021

William B. Morgan, 65, embraced all the good and the bad in this world, and embodied a strong faith in humanity. He was a successful business owner, skilled gardener, impressive cook, and, above all else, devoted family man.

An inventive mind with an unmatched sense of humor, Billy delighted in the happiness of all those who loved him deeply and who now miss him dearly. He made his optimism come true — finding joy in selfless service to others, comforting many in times of crisis, and working tirelessly to help his beloved family and friends truly feel how special they were. You could not escape Billy’s company without receiving his gifts of sincere compliments, uplifting words of encouragement, and even a few lighthearted jokes at your (and his) expense.

Billy passed away from COVID-19 on January 14, 2021, with his soulmate and wife of 38.5 years, Lori, and daughters Sara and Becky near his side.  He is predeceased by his father and mother Bill and Marie Buob, brother-in-law Bob Brevet, and niece Elise Brevet.  Surviving are his wife Lori (nee Chavis); daughters Sara and Becky; son-in-law Nate; uncle Bernie Suttake; aunt Ronnie and uncle Bobby Buob; sisters Diane Brevet of Metuchen, Carol Carnevale and her husband Tony of Dunellen, and Roseann Walsh and her husband Mike of Avenel; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his cherished pets, Baxter and Milton.

A private service for the family will be held on January 19, 2021 at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home in Union, NJ. A celebration of his life will be held in the future when everyone can gather safely. In his memory, please practice kindness and compassion for all living things.
