Virginia Anne Farinella, 94, of Mountainside passed away on November 2, 2016. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 300 Central Ave, in Mountainside on Saturday, November 5th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave in Springfield on Friday from 5 to 8pm. Born in Nashwauk, MN, the daughter of Gabriel and Theresa (Serra) DeLuca, Virginia also lived in Colusa, CA and Clifton, NJ, before moving to Mountainside in the 1950’s. She was a homemaker and a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes.
Virginia was the beloved wife of the late John Farinella and the loving mother of Mark Farinella and Paul Farinella. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
