Violet B. Teufel, 90, of Union, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012. Born in Irvington, Violet lived in Union most of her life. She was a secretary at Prudential Insurance Company in Newark for many years. A member of Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church in Union since 1933, Violet was a past Elder and Trustee. She was also a member, President and Treasurer of the Women’s Association of the Church, choir member and Sunday School teacher.
Predeceased by her husband Fred and sister Madeline Conlin, Violet is survived by her daughters Janet Oeskovic of Clark, and Nancy Disano and her husband Dennis of Roselle Park; grandchildren Danielle Disano, Dennis Disano, Jr., Matthew Disano and his wife Christine and Joshua Disano and Scott Oeskovic; great grandchildren Victoria, Zachary, Nicholas, Isabella and Mia; brother Harry Ash.
