~~Victoria “Vicky” Gladysiewicz, 77, of Springfield (formerly Union) passed away at Overlook Hospital on April 7th. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1212 Kelly St, Union on Wednesday, April 9th at 10:15am. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley Haeberle & Barth, 1100 Pine Ave, Union, from 9 to 10am prior to the Mass.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Vicky also lived in Union and Barnegat before moving to Springfield 12 years ago. She was a long time parishioner at St. Michael’s and enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends. Vicky will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her family and her witty sense of humor.
Vicky was the beloved wife of the late Robert. She was the loving mother of Julie D’Aloia and her husband Mark, Vicki Gorczyca and the late Barbara Gladysiewicz. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Erica, Pamela, and Michael, and her dear sister Rita Melanson. Her brother Leon Aberasturi died previously.
