Veronica B. “Ronnie” Krygoski (nee Bolcar), passed away at Morristown Memorial Medical Center on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, after a brief illness. She was 88.

Born in Whippany and a life-long resident, Mrs. Krygoski was a graduate of the Bayley Catholic High School in Morristown. During WWII, she worked at the Selective Service in Morristown. Later, she worked for the Township of Hanover for 19 years, first as a Secretary in the General Office, and then in the Records Dept. of the Hanover Twp. Police Dept., retiring in 1996.

An active and independent woman over her entire life, she enjoyed shopping, visiting the beauty salon and working on her crossword puzzles. In her retirement, she also enjoyed traveling to the Jersey Shore, especially Atlantic City and Cape May, with her husband Frank. She was an avid reader and NY Mets fan. Mrs. Krygoski was an active member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Whippany and the Whippanong Post 155 of the American Legion’s Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her grandchildren, Polish music and her home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Krygoski. Last Friday, May 22nd would have been their 61st wedding anniversary. She was the loving mother of Joe and his wife Nancy of Parsippany, Bob and his wife Haide of Flanders and Diane Connerty and her husband Jim of Bonita Springs, FL. Devoted grandmother of Eric, Lauren, Justin, Megan, Heather and Andrew. She was pre-deceased by her brother, John Bolcar, and her sisters, Elizabeth Mazzoccoli and Mary Artigliere. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Rd., Whippany, where she received her Baptism, First Reconciliation, Communion, Confirmation and Marriage over the course of her lifetime. An interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Legion Place, Whippany, following the Mass. Friends may call at the Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany on Sunday from 2-5 pm.
