Therese M. Hough

Therese M. Hough, 58, of Chatham Township, New Jersey passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital, New York, NY.

Therese was born on September 8, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of Mrs. Teresa (O’Toole) Martin and the late Mr. Thomas Martin.

Therese was a graduate of College of Mount Saint Vincent, Bronx, NY and also graduated from Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, NY. She worked as an attorney for Braff, Harris, Sukoneck & Maloof in Livingston, NJ. Therese was a parishioner and a lector at Corpus Christi Church in Chatham Township, NJ. She was a member of the Chatham Township Zoning Board of Adjustment for several years and very active in the Chatham Township Democratic Committee. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, visiting museums and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Hough. She is also survived by her children; daughter, Kathryn Hough and son, Matthew Hough. In addition, she is survived by her mother, Teresa Martin, brother, James Martin, and sister, Sara Martin.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ. An interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ.
