~~Theresa M. Wentz was called to heaven to join her lifetime love, George William Wentz, Sr.
Widowed at young age she graciously raised her children, son George William Jr, and daughter Laura Lorraine. Throughout the years she held various work positions at Hubeny Brothers, Altmans, Bloomingdales, Motorola and Catholic Charities.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grammy, sister, godmother, daughter, aunt, neighbor and friend. She loved her grandchildren dearly. They will always know that her spirit lives within them; grandchildren George III, Charlotte, Thomas and Matthew. She is also survived by her sister, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and very dear and loving neighbors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave in Springfield on Monday, June 13th at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave in Springfield on Sunday from 3 to 7pm.
