~~Thaddeus “Ted” W. Kosydar, 91, of Clark passed away on November 10, 2017. There will be a prayer service at St. Teresa Cemetery Mausoleum, 136 Passaic Ave. in Summit on Saturday, November 18th at 1pm. To send a condolence, please visit www.www.bradleyfuneralhomes.com.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Walter and Anna (Bokota) Kosydar, Ted was raised in Millburn, and had also lived in Avenel before moving to Clark in 1956. He proudly served his country as an aerial photographer in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Ted was the Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment with the Interstate Sanitation Commission from 1959 to 1990. A member of the Polish Cultural Foundation since 1980, he was also a longtime member of St. John the Apostle Church in Linden. Ted enjoyed reading and target shooting and was also a collector of stamps, coins, and WWII memorabilia. He will be fondly remembered for his devotion to his family and his love of nature and ecology.

Ted was the beloved husband of the late Mary. He was the loving father Lillian Vender. He is also survived by his cherished grandson Ronald Rusin and his wife Jody and great grandchildren, R.J., Matthew, Samuel and Jack.
