Stanley F. Kozubal of Union died at Overlook Hospital on Friday, November 23, 2012. He was 91. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Kearny when first married and was a long-time Union resident.
Stanley was a WWII Veteran, Staff Sergeant with the Army Air Force. He was a Job Setter for Western Electric in Kearney for 42 years before retiring, a member of the Knights of Columbus in Union and member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Agnes (Lesko); children, Carol and her husband John Donahue of Pompton Lakes, William Kozubal of Union, Janice and her husband John Albers of Union; grandchildren, Ryan Hughes, Eric & Amanda Cuesta and Stanley’s sister, Jean Tokarz. He was predeceased by his brother Walter.
