Simone Roelli

Simone Roelli of Denville, passed away at her home on June 15, 2024.  She was 44 years old.

Born in Porto Real do Collegio, Alagoas, Brazil, Simone came to the US at the age of 22 and began pursuing her education. Simone first learned English, then received her GED and eventually received her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in May of 2021 all while raising two children.  Simone continued to take class and always pushed herself to further her education. She was both mentored by and an active member of Dress for Success and The Literacy Volunteers.

Simone had worked for the past three years as a Corporate Tax Analyst for Bessemer Trust in Woodbridge after working incredibly hard to get the job.

Simone was also an avid stock and crypto trader, and you could aways find her watching YouTube videos updating her on the latest stock information. She was a very strong, independent person. She was incredibly smart and ingenious. Simone had a green thumb and kept a beautiful garden and would often make professional quality bouquets with the flowers she grew. She also really enjoyed jewelry and owned her own jewelry business early on called de Gabriella.

Most of all, Simone was a very loving and caring mother. She was the devoted and loving mother of her two daughters, Gabriella and Sofia.  She is also survived by her mother, Maria Jose Bispo dos Santos; her siblings, Wanderley Estevo, Reginald Santos Estevo, Josuel Junior Santos Estevo, Silvana Estevo dos Santos, Ana Paula Batista dos Santos and Joao Batista dos Santos, all residing in Brazil.

Simone was loved and respected by all that knew her.  Everyone enjoyed her energy and kindness.  A true warrior, there was no obstacle she couldn’t conquer.

Simone will be dearly missed.
