Rosalia Brunka of Whippany died at her home on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the age of 84. Born in Poland, she had been a long-time resident of Whippany.
Rosalia came to the US after being liberated from a work-camp in WWII. She worked for Angar Scientific (division of Automatic Switch Co.) in Cedar Knolls before retiring. She attended St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and loved to cook and bake Ukrainian food.
Rosalia was predeceased by her husband Michael (1987), daughter Stefanie (1981) and son Simeon (2009). She is survived by her children: Lesia Lanzarone of Rockaway and Nicholas of Whippany, and grandchildren: Alyssa & Kristen Lanzarone of Rockaway.
