Roger Patrick Beirne entered into eternal rest in heaven on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
Born in Balinameen, County Roscommon, Ireland, he came to America in 1949. He married Ann (Mallon) in 1953 and has lived in Summit, NJ ever since. He worked for Public Service Electric and Gas for 30 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Summit Council 783.
Predeceased by his son Jack, brothers Jim, Harry, Pat, Michael and John, brother in law Andrew Mallon, and sisters in law Evelyn Riegler and Mary Ellen Weed; Roger is survived by his wife Ann; daughter Eileen Ann Pett and her husband Thomas, grandchildren Dylan, Kaitlin and Jessica; brothers in law Charles Mallon, James Mallon and his wife Louise, and John Mallon; Roger is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families, many friends, as well as many relatives and friends in Ireland.
