Robert L. Werner of Cranford died at his home on Saturday, July 21, 2012. He was 77. Born in Jessup PA, he was raised in Newark, raised his family in Roselle Park and had lived in Cranford for the past five years.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Virginia (Foglio) and is survived by his children, Robert of Flemington, Danielle Chauca of Elizabeth, Jerry Capanear of Morristown, Dino Capanear of Phoenix AZ, and Georgann Kingsland of Roselle Park. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Leonardo & Gavin Chauca and Jeremy & Brooke Werner.
Robert was a dedicated father and grandfather. He served with the US Marines during the Korean War. Robert was a Shop Stewart and Operations Engineer for Eastern Airlines in Newark.
