Robert John Schetelich, Sr., 86, of Union, passed into eternal rest on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Overlook Hospital, Summit.
He leaves his wife of 53 years Mary Lou (nee: Nannariello); son Robert John Schelelich, Jr and his wife Maria; daughter Lisa Ann Gramlich and her husband Keith William Gramlich; 5 grandchildren, Charles Tedesco, Jr., Briana Tedesco, Victoria Tedesco, Olivia Schetelich and Gabriella Schetelich.
Robert served in the US Army during the Korean War. Following his service, he continued his engineering career at Weston Instruments in Newark. Robert loved spending time with his family at his beach house in Long Beach Island. Everyone knew him as a kind, humble, generous, deeply religious man.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10:15am at St. Michael’s Church, 1212 Kelly Street, Union. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union.
