Richard M. Epifanio, 38, of Union, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

Richard was born on February 20, 1979 in Newark, New Jersey. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henrique and Zenaida (nee Montesino) Epifanio.

Richard worked as a carpenter and laborer for Grey Supply, Randolph, NJ. He loved working with his hands and constructing various pieces of furniture. Richie was known as a “jack of all trades” and could fix anything. He loved spending time outdoors and hiking with his fiancé and dog, Max. Richie enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on his jeep.

Richard is survived by his beloved fiancé of 16 years, Maria Veloso. He is also survived by his parents; Henrique and Zenaida Epifanio, brothers; Raphael and Robert Epifanio, and loving aunts; Marina Hidalgo, Marta Fuentes and many extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union, NJ 07083. A prayer service will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017 at St. Michael’s Church, 1212 Kelly Street, Union, NJ 07083. An entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
