Peter Anthony Dissler, 86, of Union , passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Born in New York City, Peter was raised in the Bronx. After marrying Elizabeth Muller in 1950, they moved to Union, New Jersey. A Veteran of the US Navy during WWII, Peter was a police officer with the Union Police Department for over 25 years. He was a member of the PBA, and loved the ocean and boating. He enjoyed travelling the world.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Anna, and his sister Anna; Peter is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elizabeth; and daughter Kathleen Dissler Day.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10am at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
