Patrick J. “Uncle Pat” Lucas, 62, of Union, passed away at home, on Friday, August 10, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Pat lived in Massapequa, New York for many years.  After marrying, he lived in Matawan, New Jersey before settling in Union in 1992.

Pat worked in the Computer Training industry as a Premier Trainer from 1985 – 2004. He was currently working for the New York City Board of Education as Budget Officer. Pat was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #4504, and was a member of the Garwood Athletic Club. He enjoyed rooting for the NY Mets, Jets, Islanders and Notre Dame. He enjoyed golfing, and spending time in his camper in the woods.

Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Rosemary (Hopkins) Lucas, and his brother Timothy; Pat is survived by his loving wife Kimberly A. (nee: Russo); brother Thomas and his wife Debbie; sister Noreen Eberly and her husband Randy; cousin Thomas Hopkins and his wife Carol; nephew Thomas Lucas and his wife Jenna; and nieces Danielle Mauro and her husband Rob, Kimberly Lucas and Jennifer Lucas; great nephews and a great niece.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11am at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union. Cremation will be private. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
