Patricia S. Fuzia nee Verney, of Union, NJ, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 6, 2013. She was 76 years old.
Born in Jersey City, Patricia lived in the Vailsburg section of Newark for many years before moving to Union in 1981. She married her husband, Julius Fuzia, in 1960 and the couple shared a marriage lasting 41 years.
Patricia loved to participate in activities at the Senior Center in Union and go out to dinner and movies with her friends. She was also a cat lover, caring not only for her own beloved cat, Nemo, but also for the many neighborhood cats that stopped by to say hello. Above all, Patricia will be remembered for her love of family. Nothing made her happier than to have everyone together, whether it was to share a meal, play games, or just hang out.
Patricia is predeceased by her loving husband, the late Julius Fuzia. She leaves behind three beloved children: Edward Fuzia of Lebanon, NJ; Robert Fuzia and his wife Lori of Union, NJ; and Sheri Fuzia and her boyfriend Dennis Welsh of Port Murray, NJ; three loving grandchildren: Ashley Fuzia of Lebanon, NJ; and Larissa and Annalise Fuzia of Union, NJ; and her beloved cat, Nemo.
A visitation for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, located at 1100 Pine Avenue in Union. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 9:30am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
