~~Patricia K. Davis, 92, of Chatham and Morristown passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 5, 2018. A memorial service followed by a reception, will be held at the Chatham United Methodist Church, 460 Main in Chatham on Saturday, March17th at 11am. Patricia was born in Newark, the daughter of Erwin and Marie ( Ellenberger) Loeffler. Upon graduating from high school in Maplewood, she began a career as a secretary prior to marrying and moving to Chatham in the early 1950’s. Patricia later became an executive secretary with the Chatham Trust Company as well as with C.R. Bard, Inc. She was an active member of the Chatham United Methodist Church, including the P.E.O., the Circle Group and the Stephen Ministry. Patricia enjoyed sewing and traveling with her late husband. Known as the “Dynamic Duo”, they were seldom seen apart. Patricia will be fondly remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family and church.

Patricia was the beloved wife of 72 years to the late Douglas Davis who passed away on October 1, 2017. She was the loving mother of Jeff Davis (Deborah) and the late Nancy Caldwell Tremblay (Pierre). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kathy Caldwell Smith (Jim), Kristie Caldwell Crumley (Michael), Amanda Caldwell Strine (Grant) and Amanda Zalis (Jeff) and great grandchildren, Courtney Justin, Haley, Michael, Kelly, Kayla, Jackson and Jeffrey. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Chatham United Methodist Church.
