Patricia I. McCormick, 75, of Springfield passed away at her home on April 28th. A Celebrant Service will be held at Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. in Springfield on Thursday, May 2nd at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Rosedale Crematory. Born and raised in Scotland, Patricia came to the United States in 1958 first settling in Newark. She had also lived in Pompton Plains before moving to Springfield in 1972. Patricia was the Manager of Smuggler’s Cove Restaurant ( now Scotty’s) in Springfield. She retired in 2007 after forty years of service. Patricia will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her love and devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren.
Patricia was the beloved wife of 55 years to William “Scotty” McCormick. She was the loving mother of Laurielle Nagel and her husband Gene, and Gary McCormick. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Max and Lauren Nagel.
