Oscar A. Klamer, 84, of Whippany, passed away on September 11, 2012. Born in Evansville, Indiana, Oscar grew up in Park Ridge Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1951. He served in the US Army from 1955-1957. In 1957, he moved to Whippany, New Jersey where he has lived for over 50 years. Oscar was a chemical engineer for the Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway, New Jersey, for about 30 years before his retirement. Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee: Dimmitt), Oscar is survived by his daughters Carolyn Billemeyer and her husband Craig, Janet Klamer and her husband Norman Loveless; and grandchildren Nicole, Cory and David. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10:30am at the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany, 494 State Highway No 10, Whippany NJ.
